Daylight saving has ended for New Zealand. With clocks going back at 3am on Saturday night. In Summer, these early morning sunlight hours are seen as being wasted as many people are asleep at that time. By way of daylight saving time, they are more useful.
Fun Fact: New Zealand first introduced daylight saving in 1927. Daylight savings is also a reminder for New Zealandrs to check their fire alarms and ensure they are working in order.
