Kayaking T4!

This Friday the Y7's & 8's planned a trip to Werowhite Water for kayaking. This would count as my second time kayaking. What did I enjoy? There were many things we did. Some I thought of as dangerous but it's alright. I enjoyed when I on purpose fell into the water. It was probably my biggest regret that but I'd do it again...but better.

KAYAKING 2019!!

Today my class had a surprise to transport to Wero Whitewater Park and experience kayaking. I was overwhelmed with excitment because I've always wanted to see what it felt like rowing.

We arrived at the destination, from there we prepared ourselves for the kayaking lesson. One of the instructors taught us the two main actions we should know about kayaking. After all the confusion, it was time to kayak around the area.

The hardest part during kayaking was paddling forwards because, sometimes your boat would turn a different direction randomly. Other than that I had an amazing time kayaking with my class!

GOING RAFTING!!

Last week on Friday we had the chance to experience rafting at Wero Whitewater Park. Before going on the trip, everyone had a notice taken home consisted of the things we needed for rafting.
Rafting was difficult as you would have to paddle your raft backwards. I didn't understand how to do it. Thank you to my instructor (Jay) for giving us a moment to pause. Besides that, the most appealing part for me was going down the bumps while standing up. I had a superior and fun time!
