When I first started to read this book, it caught my attention by how the sickness in the book is similar to Covid-19. It was really intriging to see how you don't know what others life consist of = their background. Made me realise that even if someone if being mean to you, they might be fighting their own battles. I think the title "Guts" symbolises that the 'bully' in the story had GUTS to confront her victim, what she was honestly suffering from.
