The Year 7's Host The Syndicate Assembly 2019!

Last Monday the year 7's from Room 12 hosted the syndicate assembly. I was very nervous because I had no idea how to produce a syndicate assembly but I wanted to take part in it. In the assembly my part was telling the prefects to come up to do their job.

Well done to Kotipi and Madisyn for receiving a certificate for their hard work in class. In the end I was proud of the syndicate assembly that the year 7's worked together on!

Food Is Delicious!💛

Today at Tech we cooked chop suey.  I was thrilled to cook chop suey because now I can see what the process my dad has to go through when he cooks it.

The finishing results surprised me because Agueer and I did an amazing job for cooking chop suey for our first time! When I ate the chop suey it fizzled in my mouth, making my mouth very oily.

Great Work Agueer And Joanlisi!

Room 10 was taking the lead at this week's syndicate assembly. The syndicate assembly was introduced very smoothly which made me even more overjoyed to watch it. First up were the students who have been working hard in their classroom. Well done to Joanlisi and Agueer for receiving a certificate!

Then it was time for the activity. The activity was musical chairs. For this game in particular only the prefects and the teachers had to participate. I was cheering for everyone on stage but mostly for my class. Surprisingly it ended up being Frank winning the game. Good job Frank!

Cooking Fritata With Kumara!

This week the entire cooking class groups cooked Fritata with Kumara. To begin our task we had to
cut our onion and let it boil until it was tender.

Following that I had to peel the Kumara skin with a peeler and use the cheese grater. The finishing
results surprised me because it was similar to scrambled eggs.

Faye and I halved the Fritata Kumara into equal pieces. When I took a bite out of my piece, my mouth became oily and crackly. What a delicious meal!

Macaroni & Cheese

It is now week five of Tech at Tamaki College. I have been very excited during cooking classes this term. For cooking class today the year 7's cooked macaroni and cheese.

During the process of cooking the macaroni and cheese, the macaroni was easier than cooking the sauce which was actually really confusing. The results for our macaroni and cheese was rated the cheesiest and best!
