The Last Volleyball Lesson With Renee

Every Tuesday some classes learn to play volleyball with "Coach Renee". I learnt a lot of things from volleyball. I learnt how to spike, how to do an overarm and other amazing things. On the last day of volleyball with Renee we played volleyball games such as, elimination, tournament and ''Girls V.S Boys". Room 10 decided to do tournament for the first game. Girls V.S Boys and the tournament together for the second game. Finally for the last game we play elimination. My team for volleyball was a very good team. We won the whole match. Daffodil Day!

Last week on Friday, Ruapotaka school had a special assembly to remember the word "Hope" for those who have suffered a bad illness called "Cancer". Hope can mean a lot of things but some of them are, hoping that the people that have cancer get better. Hoping that they'll live another day. Hoping that the researchers find a curer to cure people that have cancer. Cancer is very sad and emotional to look at.

That's why "Ruapotaka School" decided to have a donation so that the Ruapotaka students can donate, $1 or $2 for the researchers to find a curer. I donated my $1 so that I could show respect to those who have cancer. In this picture, you can see that mostly everyone in room 10 bought a daffodil. In the first picture you can see that the prefects are holding up a word called "Hope". On the word Hope, there is daffodils that Ruapotaka School made to glue it on there.
