Daffodil Day!

Last week on Friday, Ruapotaka school had a special assembly to remember the word "Hope" for those who have suffered a bad illness called "Cancer". Hope can mean a lot of things but some of them are, hoping that the people that have cancer get better. Hoping that they'll live another day. Hoping that the researchers find a curer to cure people that have cancer. Cancer is very sad and emotional to look at.

That's why "Ruapotaka School" decided to have a donation so that the Ruapotaka students can donate, $1 or $2 for the researchers to find a curer. I donated my $1 so that I could show respect to those who have cancer. In this picture, you can see that mostly everyone in room 10 bought a daffodil. In the first picture you can see that the prefects are holding up a word called "Hope". On the word Hope, there is daffodils that Ruapotaka School made to glue it on there.
