Sun Sonata Poem

Yesterday my reading group memorised a poem in your journal. The poem that my reading group memorised was called Sun Sonata by Elizabeth Pulford. Our poem was pretty short so we had enough time to memorised the whole poem. It was fun memorising a poem and putting in our own actions as well. Here is our poem that my group memorised with Kate, Agueer and I in the video!

The Lonely Cat

There was a lonely cat

Who was very fat

She didn't know where to be but, 

 found someone that was free

She ran and ran and hit a tree

On her knee was a little cut

She didn't care so she ran until,

she lost her breath of air...

The lonely cat was lost,

She didn't know where to be

She ran and ran and hit a girl
Who was as kind as pearl
So the girl kept the lonely cat,
and put the cat in a safe hat!
